Gmail down for 2 percent of users for an hour
Google has acknowledged that its Gmail service suffered some downtime for some users. The issue, which began earlier on Tuesday, had been addressed by the software giant, who promised more information on the cause. Gmail came back after about an hour.
Google said less than two percent of all Gmail accounts were affected by the outage. A reason for the outage has not been given, however. The issue was fixed systematically, with a portion of all users getting the fix before all of them were addressed. [via The Next Web]
