Next iPhone's parts may show up early
Well-known leaker of pre-release Apple parts TVC-Mall has posted listings for what it claims are some of the first "iPhone 5" parts. The home button replacements come in black and white. While superficially preserving the circular home button, the part is clearly different than that of the iPhone 4S in having a rectangular backing; the iPhone 4S part is cut in a circle directly around the button itself.
The part is very much unconfirmed, although TVC-Mall has had parts for unreleased iPads and other iOS devices that were later confirmed accurate after teardowns. Any use of the parts could be up to several months away, however, as even optimistic rumors have had a new iPhone showing in the summer, while others are leaning towards an early fall release. If real, however, the part would show Apple suppliers already in the earliest stages of making individual components.
The circular design wouldn't necessarily preclude a significant redesign of the next iPhone, but it would if accurate show that Apple still planned to keep some design elements consistent with ancestors. [via Apple Bitch]

Nice timing.
"Samsung's Galaxy S 3 is getting too much press! Quick, leak a picture of the new button!"
These tactics are so cheap.
