Specifics, release date not known

Recent rumors reported by Pocket Now have pointed to a successor to the Motorola Photon 4G, likely titled the Motorola Photon Q 4G LTE. Full specifications aren't known, but at a minimum a dual-core processor, 720p display, LTE connectivity, and a similar form factor to the original Photon are expected. No release date is known, but similar LTE devices are currently available from Samsung and LG on Sprint.

The original Motorola Photon 4G was introduced by July 31, 2011 on the Sprint Nextel network. Specifications include a dual core 1 GHz Cortex A9 processor, 1GB DDR2 RAM, 16GB storage, a 4.3 inch qHD display, and an 8MP rear camera with a VGA front camera.
