Seventh batch of Xiaomi phones sells out quick

Xiaomi has managed to sell 150,000 of its Mi One or M1 smartphones in just 12 minutes and 41 seconds on Tuesday. Priced at 2,000 yuan (about $317), the phone runs on Android that's heavily with a third-party MIUI interface. The phone is sold in batches, with this latest one being the seventh since the phone's introduction last August.

The process is said to have been trouble-free this time around and orders are expected to be filled in about one to three weeks. The handset is offered in China exclusively.

Specs include a 1.5GHz, dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, an eight-megapixel camera with autofocus, and a 1,930mAh battery. [via Unwired View]
