New Aspire model to bear low-power Intel chip

On April 29, Acer will release a new iteration of its Aspire notebook line with Intel's third-generation Core processor inside. In addition to a 2.1GHz Core i7 processor, the new Aspire will support up to 8GB of RAM, and comes with a 750GB hard drive.

The new model, which comes standard with Windows 7 Home Premium, will bear a 15.6-inch LED backlit display with a 1366x768 resolution, as well as a 1.3-megapixel web camera. Users can expect around 4.5 hours of battery life.

The new Aspire will also incorporate Bluetooth 4.0 and Dolby Home Theater v4 surround speakers. No word was available as to the possibility of release in the US and other markets outside of Japan. The Aspire V3-571-H78F is expected to retail in the Japanese market for around $1,111. [via PC Launches]
