Series 7 to have updated graphics and Ivy Bridge

Samsung has upgraded its Series 7 notebooks to Intel Ivy Bridge processors in South Korea. The updated Series 7 Gamer and Chronos notebooks also include 1TB hard disks and Nvidia graphics.

Series 7 Gamer will have Nvidia GeForce GTX 675M graphics and the Chronos gets GT 640M, suggested by Samsung to be a 50 percent improvement from the previous versions. Windows 7, 8GB of DDR3 RAM, Windows 7, and a backlit keyboard are all included in the update.

Samsung's US site appears to have the upgraded Series 7 listed at $1500 featuring GT 650M graphics, but with no mention of a backlit keyboard nor a date for the US release.
