Telltale Games outs first episode of The Walking Dead

Telltale Games has put out the first episode of The Walking Dead for download. The M-rated, five-episode series foreshadows the story of Deputy Sheriff Rick Grimes, serving as a prequel to the comic book and television series.
Players control new character Lee Everett, a convict given a chance at redemption following an accident on the way to prison. The game will focus more on the drama unfolding as the world becomes increasingly populated by the undead, as a time-limited action-adventure title shying away from the usual zombie action sequences seen in Left 4 Dead and Dead Rising.
Mac and PC versions of Episode One, titled “A New Day”, are available through Telltale Games and Steam, with Xbox Live and PlayStation Network versions also available. Future episodes are scheduled for monthly releases, averaging approximately $5 per download.
