US iPad shipping times now at 3-5 days

New iPad now shipping faster and to more countries
US shipping times for the third-generation iPad have dropped to between three to five days at Apple's online store, checks show. A little over a week ago tablets were still shipping in 5 to 7 days. All models are benefiting from the faster delivery times, regardless of capacity, carrier, or connectivity.
Apple has managed to roll out the third-gen iPad at a faster pace than last year's iPad 2. On top of quick US turnarounds, the new iPad is already available in 56 countries, even if most of them have slower shipping schedules than the US. While Canada is on par with the US, times are still between five to seven days in places like Japan, and between one to two weeks in Europe.
