Vizio wireless keyboard, keypad show up at FCC

Vizio promised to bring out a PC range back at CES and the first evidence of this has shown up in some FCC tests online. Under the commission's eye was a wireless keyboard and a wireless trackpad, and while not much technical information was revealed by them, it's clearly visible either is powered by two AAA batteries. The most important part about the filing, perhaps, is that the actual photos are to be kept secret until July 31.

This could also hint as to a release date for the pair of peripherals and even maybe the PCs they attach to, which could come soon after or perhaps even on the last day in July.

Vizio, known for its budget-priced HDTVs, promised to release five new computer devices in 2012, including 24- and 27-inch all-in-one desktops, 14- and 15.6-inch notebooks, and a regular notebook. A tablet was also mentioned. All would be Windows-powered, but free of customized software, and simple, clean styling that would mirror Apple's. [via Engadget]
