Corroborating recent reports, T-Mobile has quietly announced that it has completed internal testing of the Android 4.0 update for HTC's Sensation 4G. The carrier already confirmed that the device would eventually receive the upgrade, however the release timing has now been narrowed to "very soon."
Recent rumors suggest the carrier was planning to offer Ice Cream Sandwich first for its Galaxy S II variant, with availability expected on or around May 14, however the Amaze 4G and Sensation 4G were said to be held back until mid-June to receive the latest OS update.
Unlocked Sensation handsets sold overseas have already received the Android 4.0 update directly from HTC, though carrier testing for subsidized models typically adds time to the update process. [via Talk Android]
