Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 due at Office Depot on May 13 for $400

The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 may be less expensive than originally believed if the latest pre-order listing from the Office Depot is to be believed. While the pre-order page is likely encountering lots of traffic and couldn't be loaded at this time, Engadget did manage to share a page capture. While it reveals that the $400 price point remains, it's for a 16GB tablet rather than the 8GB one seen before.

The Office Depot listing also revealed that store stock will arrive on May 13, with online orders shipping on May 11. Specs include a dual-core processor, though its clock speed isn't listed. Android 4.0 will be pre-loaded, with users interfacing on the 1280x800 touchscreen. Connecting to an external display will let users output 1080p video from the tablet. Otherwise, there is Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a microSD memory card slot onboard, and better speakers than in the original Galaxy Tab 10.1. [via CNET]
