Realtime coverage now available for every story
Google has revamped its Google News portal with several new features, expanding Google+ integration and adding realtime coverage. The US edition now allows users to participate in Google+ discussions directly from the News homepage and the new realtime coverage pages, while the main page offers larger images.
The realtime coverage enables readers to quickly access content as it is added to the search giant's news aggregation system, alongside the standard posts and Highly Cited selections.
The new features are currently limited to the US edition, with full rollout expected over the next week. The social networking functionality requires users to sign up for a Google+ account.
