AT&T network speed poked fun of by T-Mobile
T-Mobile have taken aim against AT&T in its most recent television commercial. The new advert, continuing the makeover of brand representative Carly into an edgier motorcycle rider, pokes fun at the slow speed of the iPhone on AT&T compared to a much faster Carly on T-Mobile's 4G network.
Although the advert is making a jab at the iPhone, there were previous hints that the carrier may get the Apple handset in the future, with their CTO Neville Ray using a recent results call to state their focus on Apple and supporting the iPhone on their network.
Recently, T-Mobile had resorted to offering a $200 bounty for iPhone trade-ins, and promoting the HTC One S as its main iPhone contender.
