Google+ gets stylish redesign
Today, Google released an update for its Google+ iOS app (free, App Store). The update amounts to a considerable makeover for the social networking app, bringing crisper fonts, larger profile pics, and a revamped home screen.
Following the debut of Google+ last year, iOS users had no dedicated app for some time and were only able to access the network through an optimized web app while Google awaited approval from Apple. The initial version of the app featured a usable, but underwhelming app. The update brings much larger profile pictures and a greatly revamped color scheme for the app.
Google has been adding capabilities to the Google+ app for some time, but the new design features are likely a result of the company's hiring Digg creator Kevin Rose. Rose and the team he brought with him were said to be focused specifically on social efforts at the company.

maybe I missed it
but there doesn't seem to be a way to DELETE someone that you followed by mistake, and that is f looding your G+ with scads of daily irrelevant postings. swipe to unfollow? Unfollow button? No wonder people aren't using Google plus
