HTC Evo 4G LTE on Sprint can now be preordered

The HTC Evo 4G LTE has become available for preorder from Best Buy. The Sprint handset, which Electronista was able to try out last month, is being promoted by the electronics retailer with a $50 gift card for those that take up the offer ahead of the May 18 release date.

Previously, it was confirmed that the Evo 4G LTE would have a 4.7-inch screen, higher capacity 2000mAh battery to compensate for the power used by LTE connections, a step-down to a dual-core, 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4, and an eight-megapixel rear camera matched to a front 1.3-megapixel camera.

Pre-orders through Best Buy will receive a $50 gift card for the retailer on purchasing the $200 handset with a 2-year contract. It is also noted that it users of the Evo 4G can trade their handset in for $50 off the retail price, and still retain the $50 voucher offer.
