Six models added to venerable line

Accompanying the Envy multi-product rollout, HP also released updates to its ongoing Pavilion line of consumer level laptops. Supplementing the line are the Pavilion m6, dv4, dv6, dv7, g6, and g7 lines. All of today's announced models will be available with Intel's Ivy Bridge 3rd generation Core processor line. The entire line will be available in the US at various time across the summer.

A brushed aluminum Pavilion m6 started the additional product line revisions with a 15.6-inch display, Beats audio, and a choice of unknown Intel Ivy Bridge or AMD processors. No price, detailed specifications, or release date has been announced.

The previously-rumored metal-finished dv6 and dv7 accompany the black, white, or red dv4. All three boast Ivy Bridge processors, and optional nvidia graphics acceleration. All three models arrive June 20. The dv4 and dv6 are priced at $550 and up, while the dv7 is expected to cost $800 or more, depending on configuration.

The Pavilion g6 and g7 2012 edition laptops will be available in ruby red, linen white, sparkling black, winter blue, and bright purple. Arrival date is July 25, with the g6 running $450 and the g7 for $50 more at $500.
