Droid Razr MAXX gets $100 price cut at Verizon

Verizon has reduced the price of the Droid Razr MAXX smartphone by a third, lopping off $100. Now set at $200 with a two-year contract, which is the same as the original, thinner but shorter-lasting Droid Razr cost not so long ago. The Droid Razr is currently priced at $100 at Verizon.

Along with the price drop, the Android 4.0 update for the handset is also expected to arrive in the near future. The phone currently runs on Android 2.3 and its sports a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED LCD with a 540x960 resolution, while an eight-megapixel camera sits out back. [via The Verge]
