Android 4 reaching Samsung Galaxy S II and Galaxy Tabs

Samsung has expanded its Android 4.0 update list to include several devices sold through T-Mobile. The carrier appears to have committed to Ice Cream Sandwich for several Galaxy handsets and two Galaxy Tabs.

T-Mobile's basic Galaxy S II and Galaxy S Blaze 4G are present on the list, following earlier upgrade confirmations for the S II and S II Skyrocket sold by AT&T. Certain discounted Gingerbread devices, such as the Exhibit II 4G, remain absent from T-Mobile's update plans.

The carrier will also bring the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus and Tab 10.1 up to Google's current public Android builds, though timing details have yet to be announced. Sprint appears to be the first carrier to scratch a device off the list, releasing an update for the Nexus S in April.
