HTC Ville C to be a cheaper version of HTC One S

The specs of an upcoming handset, the HTC Ville C, have been spotted by BriefMobile. They reveal a version of the HTC One S (shown) that is reported to be less costly, mainly thanks to its Snapdragon S3 processor rather than the S4 in the One S. It's being billed as ultra-slim, though exactly how thin isn't known.

It will come with Android 4.0 onboard, and the latest of HTC's Sense 4.5 skin atop it. Sense 4.0 is the current skin. Otherwise, the Ville C is said to sport a 4.3-inch, 540x960 AMOLED touchscreen, 16GB of storage space, and 1GB of RAM. That dual-core MSM8260 is rated at 1.2GHz, not the 1.7GHz listed in the specs, which is said to be a typo.

It shares the same eight-megapixel camera as on the One S and has 1080p recording functionality. A VGA camera faces the user. A 1,650 mAh battery, likely not to be removable, will power the device.
