NTT DoCoMo to bring three new Android 4.0 phones this summer

NTT DoCoMo has announced that the Sharp Aquos SH-07D, SH-09D, and SH-10D smartphones will be appearing on its network this summer. The three phones, each running Android 4.0, will debut separately on the network in a variety of colors.

The Aquos Zeta SH-09D comes with a 4.7-inch Super LCD display and a 1.5GHz dual-core processor from MSM 8960 Krait. The SH-09D packs a 12-megapixel camera, a 3.2-megapixel front-facing camera, 1GB RAM, and 16GB of internal storage, upgradeable to 32GB with an SD card. The SH-09D will only be available in white, and is slated for a June or July launch.

The Aquos Phone SV SH-10D has a 4.5-inch, 1280x720 LCD display, 12.1-megapixel camera, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 1.5GHz dual-core processor. Launching in August, the SH-10D is also waterproof, and will be available in orange, black, and white.

The Aquos Phone ST SH-07D is a mid-range handset with a 3.4-inch, 480x854 LCD display. It comes with a 1GHZ single-core processor and an eight-megapixel camera. Launching in June, the SH-07D will be available in lime, red, and black.

The Aquos lineup is part of a larger announcement, in which NTT DoCoMo revealed 19 new mobile devices set to appear on the network in June and the months following. The wider announcement included 16 smartphones, a tablet, a mobile phone for children, and a mobile Wi-Fi router, many of which are compatible with DoCoMo's Xi LTE mobile service. Another entry in Sharp's Aquos handset line, the SH-12C, which is capable of 3D video recording, was announced for the NTT DoCoMo last week. [via Android Advices]
