Cox TV Connect app update adds grid view, teething problems
The Cox TV Connect app (Free, App Store) has been recently updated with some interface changes to help with program browsing. The v1.1.0 update has a grid-style view and listings viewable for all channels, including those not streamable through the app. Reviews left on the iTunes App Store show that some users may be encountering an error code, with a call to Cox support suggesting the company is already looking into the problem.
Decals turn appearances of Apple TV, iPhone 4s into NES and controller
Killer Duck Decals has created stickers for the Apple TV that makes it resemble a Nintendo Entertainment System. The skins will fit second- and third-generation Apple TVs, and are viewed as a fairly good representations of the NES console released in 1985. The Etsy-based maker also sells vinyl decals for the iPhone 4s, turning it into the matching game controller, with a Game Boy skin as a further retro-gaming option. [via Technabob]
