Following last week's announcement of the TeraStation 7000, Buffalo Technology has rolled out the complementary TeraStation 5000 series. The TeraStation 5200 is a two-drive storage appliance, and the TeraStation 5400 holds four drives.

Both the 5200 and 5400 will be available in June starting at $550 for the 2TB 5400 model and $880 for the 8TB-equipped 5400. Additional 5000 series models are expected.
