Lenovo to ship IdeaTab S2109 in June for $350

Entertainment-based tablet receives availability date, price
The previously revealed Lenovo IdeaTab S2109 was officially announced today. The tablet features a 9.7-inch 1024x768 IPS LCD display, Android 4.0.4, Micro HDMI, and quad speakers. The tablet is .83 cm (.35 inches) thick, and weighs 1.27 lbs, similar in dimensions to the iPad 2 and a bit thinner and lighter than the third-generation iPad.
The processor is not the Snapdragon MSM8960 as in the S2 tablet; instead, the S2109 bears the OMAP 4430 dual-core CPU. System memory is a generous 1GB, while battery life is estimated at 10 hours of video playback or web surfing. A microSD port provides application and media storage. Micro-USB is used for both charging and connection to other devices. A 1.3 megapixel front camera is also standard on the device.
IdeaTab S2109 units will be available in early June at some Office Depot retail stores and at Lenovo.com. Expected retail price is $350.
