Fixes audio quality bugs, rectifies display freezing problems
The IMM76K Android 4.0.4 upgrade for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus on Verizon is slowly becoming officially available. The Google-provided update fixes a number of bugs, while cleaning up in-call audio quality. A manual upgrade is possible on rooted devices, but a signed push upgrade will be available to users shortly.
Bugs fixed include problems with large text in e-mails, text message connectivity, calendar note association, display freeze, and call audio, among others. The update is mandatory, and is being pushed to users in a staggered schedule.
This upgrade was leaked in early May, however it was later pulled before resurfacing on some users' devices last week. Full availability is expected by the end of this week.
