Nyko shows gamepads for Tegra-powered Android tablets

PlayPads will work with free Playground app on hundreds of games
Gaming peripherals maker Nyko has revealed two new gamepads at E3, with the PlayPad and PlayPad Pro. Meant for NVIDIA Tegra 2 or 3-powered tablets running on the Android OS, the pair was developed in conjunction with NVIDIA. The wireless controllers work with TegraZone game titles, though a free Playground app will allow playing older and different titles as well.
The larger PlayPad Pro gets two analog stick, a D-pad and hardware buttons on its face and shoulders. The smaller controller gets similar controls, though they are smaller and placed in different locations. Android 3.0 or newer is required to support the gamepads, which connect wirelessly using Bluetooth.
The controllers are said to ship this fall, with the Pro likely to be priced at $25 and the more portable PlayPad possibly priced at $35, though the company hasn't yet committed.
