Facebook App Center spotted in iOS app

Could be officially revealed on Thursday night
The Facebook App Center is already beginning to appear in some copies of the social network's iOS app, reports say. The portal is meant to make it easier to find Facebook-ready mobile apps, thanks to filters like ratings and categories. New screenshots from a person claiming to have access to the App Center also depict sections like Top Apps and Social Picks, the latter being based on apps friends are using.
In response to the images, Facebook has issued a statement. “Since we announced the App Center to developers last month, we’ve been testing it with a small percentage of users. We have no further details to announce at this time," the company explains. A special Facebook press event is being held tonight in San Francisco, one which could be used to reveal launch plans for the App Center. The portal is expected to launch within the next two weeks.
