Kepler-based NVIDIA graphics remain on IdeaPad Y580

The Lenovo IdeaPad Y580 has gone on sale though the company's website. The 15.6-inch notebook was last seen at the Consumer Electronics Show in January, and retains the Kepler-based NVIDIA graphics and Intel Ivy Bridge-based processor that were promised in the original announcement.

The range on Lenovo's sales page starts with a 2.3GHz Core i7 processor matched with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M graphics, 8GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive. Upgrade options can max out the screen to a resolution of 1920x1080, bundle in Blu-ray capabilities, and even an extra 32GB SSD. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and a HD webcam also make their appearances.

Lenovo is starting the IdeaPad Y580 from $1,300, rising to $1,550 depending on options, but voucher codes lower the range to between $950 and $1,240. [via Engadget]
