Griffin Technology aids medical professionals with new iPad case
Griffin Technology has launched a new iPad case tailored for patient care needs. The AirStrap Med is made from a combination of ABS and TPE plastics, with the two-piece frame sealing out moisture and fluids. It has push-through covered access to the sleep/wake and volume buttons, and a removable hand and shoulder strap on the back. Both are removable for easy cleaning. The case fits the iPad 2 and current-generation iPad. The AirStrap med is available now for $90.
TeamViewer for Remote Control app updated for Retina display
TeamViewer updated its remote desktop solution for iOS. The upgrade now boasts a landscape mode, iPad Retina display support, improved multitasking capabilities, and other usability improvements. Every communication between the host computer and the viewer is encrypted with AES-256 encoding. The new version of TeamViewer for Remote Control is available for personal use for free, but a commercial use license costs $150.
Zoho CRM tool updated to version 2.0
Business software maker Zoho announced the immediate availability of Zoho CRMZoho CRM for iPad, a client for the company's on-demand customer relationship management (CRM) software. Customizable views are possible, allowing users to filter, sort, and view data based on a set of criteria to help locate critical data faster. Zoho CRM for iPad can import and export toto and from the user's Contacts list, modify customer information offline with auto-syncing after connectivity is restored, and modify all records in all supported modules. Zoho CRM (free) is available now, but the Zobo CRM subscription service must be purchased starting at $12 per month for full app utility.
