Galaxy S III not shipping to Canada before June 27

Samsung has moved back its Canadian launch date for the Galaxy S III. In a tweet published Friday, the company announced that the Canadian launch would slip from June 20 to June 27 due to high demand in other regions.

According to Samsung, the more than nine million pre-orders for the Galaxy S III have overwhelmed supply levels, though the company expects shortages to be short-lived.

The Galaxy S III is set to launch on most major Canadian carriers, including TELUS, Bell, Rogers, WIND, Mobilicity, SaskTel, Videotron, and Virgin Mobile. The S III is already on sale in Australia and is expected to become available in the United States on June 21.
