Kickstarter campaign aims for Bluetooth speaker for iOS devices

CubEdge is running a Kickstarter campaign aimed at getting funding for the production of an eco-friendly, wireless Bluetooth speaker. All of the major components in the Edge.sound are biodegradable, and CubEdge offers solar energy options to power the device. The Edge.sound is Bluetooth-enabled, enabling it to connect to iOS and Android smartphones and tablets, as well as other Bluetooth-enabled devices. The speaker packs a battery capable of supporting 10 hours of music playing

The Kickstarter campaign for the Edge.sound currently stands at $38,844 pledged, with a goal of $130,000. Pledge packages between $99 and $129 are currently sold out, but backers pledging $130 will receive an Edge.sound speaker with free shipping within the US. Backers pledging more will have their choice of speaker, and the number of speakers received increases along with the pledge amount.
