Recently AT&T debuted a unique new web series and interactive storytelling experiment called Daybreak. To get the word out they have teamed up with Electronista to give away a gift bundle that includes a pair of Nokia Purity HD Stereo Headphones by Monster and a Skinit Gift Card good for one free Skinit custom skin for a mobile phone or notebook.

"Brought to you through various media and technologies, Daybreak is an interactive story about the magic of technology and its power to transform our lives and aid us in reaching our highest potential." The series was developed by AT&T with Tim Kring and BBDO. Kring is the creator of other popular television shows Strange World, Crossing Jordan, Heroes and Touch. Tim Kring is also credited with bringing the concept of “transmedia” to Hollywood with cross-platform entertainment, and is well known for his exploration of themes like inter-connectivity and global consciousness made possible through technology. After visiting AT&T Labs, Kring was convinced AT&T technology could help him lead the future of storytelling. Daybreak is a product of that.

Daybreak debuted on May 31 and is told through five online short-films, two websites and a smartphone app, each exploring different elements of the story. After viewing the episodes, check out these other channels to dig even deeper into the Daybreak universe.

Chapter one can be viewed below, and the rest at daybreak2012.com. The giveaway closes on June 28th, 2012, which is the same night the final chapter in the series will be revealed.
