Several sources corroborating, still nothing firm
Rumors of the Droid Incredible 4G LTE popping up on Verizon have been around for months, but only now does a release date appear to be in sight. Android blog Droid Life has received reports from several sources indicating that the Incredible will be coming to Verizon on July 5 of this year.
The device's impending arrival on Verizon has been known since the company accidentally confirmed the Incredible through a product page on its own Droid Does website. At CTIA, Verizon announced that the phone would arrive within the coming weeks, though it has yet to materialize.
The Droid Incredible 4G LTE is a heavily-modified variant of HTC's One S. As the only One S variant with LTE inside, the Incredible is capable of sharing its 4G connection with up to 10 devices. It will ship with Android 4.0, although the operating system will be covered by HTC's Sense 4.0 UI. It is expected to go for $300 on contract, though that price may not be final.
