Polaroid Z2300 offers flashback to yesteryear

Polaroid has taken the wraps of its Z2300 Instant Digital Camera. The brand famous for delivering instant photos from analog cameras has now managed to put a 21st Century spin on the original concept. The Z2300 not only takes digital still shots, it also incorporates a small onboard ZINK Technology printer that lets users instantly print 2x3-inch photos.

The camera includes a 10-megapixel sensor and has a large 3-inch color LCD on the rear. Also built in is a speaker and microphone for audio playback and recording of video footage. It also supports SD cards up to 32GB. Its 2x3-inch full-color prints are smudge-proof, water resistant, tear resistant and also include a stick back for easy posting on physical walls. Importantly, they will print in under a minute. The camera also users to post straight to Facebook walls as well.

The Z2300 is up for pre-order at $159 and comes in either black or white. Also included in the pack are 10 sheets of premium ZINK photo paper to get users started. Additional 2x3-inch ZINK photo paper can be purchased in packs of 50 for $25 or packs of 30 for $15.
