HP unveils two new all-in-one business models

8300 AIO features 23-inch multi-touch display


The HP business lines of all-in-one (AIO) computers were enhanced today with two new models. Joining the product lineup are the HP Compaq Pro 6300, and HP Compaq Elite 8300 all-in-one models. An upgrade option is available for the HP Compaq Elite 8300 to add multi-touch capability to the display. All three models will be available in September.

The HP Compaq Pro 8300 all-in-one has a 23-inch TN widescreen WLED 1920x1080 display, with optional 2MP webcam integrated into the display. Processor options vary from a Sandy Bridge Core i3 processor up to an Ivy Bridge i7 processor. Input is provided by four USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, an upgrade path for 802.11n networking, an optional six-in-one media card reader, a legacy serial port, and a tray-load DVD-ROM drive. One MiniPCIe slot, one MXM 3.0 port, and one mSATA connector provides expansion options. Prices start at $879, with a multitouch-equipped model available starting at $929. Both the standard and multi-touch models will be available on September 3.

The HP Compaq Pro 6300 AIO has a 21.5-inch TN widescreen WLED 1920x1080 display, with optional 2MP webcam available. Processor options are the same as the 8300, with input is provided by two USB 2.0 and four USB 3.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, optional 802.11n connectivity, a six-in-one media card reader which can be purchased as an upgrade option, an optional legacy serial port, and a tray-load DVD-ROM drive. Expandability is provided by one MiniPCIe slot, one MXM 3.0 port, and one mSATA connector. The HP Compaq Pro 6300 all-in-one computer will also be available September 3, and starts at $799.
