FaceTime camera centered over earpiece
A Chinese-language site, Apple.pro, says it has uncovered a new photo of what is believed to be a front panel for the next-generation iPhone. While similar images have been seen before, the new one includes a white panel for the first time, suggesting that Apple will be sticking with its regular color options. The photo also backs claims of a relocated FaceTime camera, positioned directly above the earpiece instead of to the side.
A flurry of part leaks have occurred in the last few weeks. That may support earlier rumors that Apple is launching into production of the next iPhone this month in preparation for a release in the fall. October is the most commonly hinted timeframe, but September has also been mentioned as a possibility.
