LG IPS7 offers direct connection with for mobile phones

LG has introduced its new IPS7 Series of monitors that are highlighted by a near invisible bezel at just 1.2mm (.025-inch) thin. The new monitors use IPS technology for wide viewing angles and more consistent color representation. They come in 23-inch and 27-inch iterations although both are limited to a 1920x1080 resolution, but they also come with support for mobile high-definition link (MHL) out of the box.

Although the monitors don't feature a WQHD resolution (2560x1440) that is typically preferred by photographers and graphic design professionals, they come with hardware color calibration capabilities built-in. They use a 16:9 aspect ratio and are rated at 250nit for brightness, while both displays are also capable of a 5ms response time. Color is also limited to 8-bit.

The LG IPS7 Series will first become available in South Korea, China and Hong Kong with a the displays rolling out to international markets over the next few months. Pricing has not been detailed at the time of writing.

According to the linked press release, the product is "IPS7", not "IPS2"

This looks like sex on a stick. But I cannot tell either from this article or the LG website if it's a highly desirable anti-glare hardcoat screen or a cursed and evil glossy reflective. That's a wallet tipping aspect. "Free from distraction" is more than the bezel-- although this is definitely the right design direction!
