Samsung to reveal new Galaxy device August 15

Media notice could be new Galaxy Note
Samsung has sent out a notice to media outlets revealing that the company intends to unveil a new addition to its Galaxy line of devices in mid-August. According to BGR, the invite includes no details on the device. Instead, it only gives the date and time details for the unveiling. The press conference is scheduled for August 15 at 10:00 am EST.
It's possible that the heavily-rumored Galaxy Note 2, which some have said will be announced in August. That device is thought to feature a larger screen and smaller bezel than its predecessor and to run the newest version of Google's Android operating system.
It is also entirely possible that the South Korean manufacturer will unveil another, as-yet-unknown device. Samsung has provided no details on whether it will be revealing a smartphone or a tablet.
