Galaxy Reverb shows up on Twitter with 1.4GHz single-core Snapdragon

A new Samsung Galaxy-series handset, the Reverb SPH-M950, has shown up on Twitter. The Reverb seems to be a version of the Jasper that also leaked from the same source a few days earlier. While the two appear similar, they have some detail differences in terms of the rumored specs.

Also, the Reverb will be relegated to Sprint, while the Jasper will be sold exclusively at Verizon stores. Along with the photo, the Twitter post revealed some major specs of the handset. It would feature a 4-inch, 800x480 touchscreen, 1.4GHz Qualcomm CPU with a single core along with 768MB of RAM, and 4GB of built-in storage. Otherwise, users get a 1.3-megapixel front camera and a five-megapixel rear shooter. Android 4.0 will be preloaded.

The Jasper was rumored to get a dual-core, 1.5GHz Snapdragon and LTE connectivity.

When the phone will show up at Verizon remains to be seen, however. [via UnwiredView]
