Transofmer Pad Infinity will be sold as 64GB model only with keyboard in the UK

ASUS will bring its Transformer Pad Infinity TF700 tablet – the first with a 1080p display – to UK stores on August 31. At least that's when Amazon will carry it, with the sole offering being a 64GB variant priced at £600 (about $930). For that kind of outlay, buyers will also get the official dock for the device.

Otherwise, the tablet gets NVIDIA's quad-core Tegra 3 chip clocked at 1.6GHz and uses Android 4.0. The 1920x1080-resolution Super IPS+ touchscreen is protected by Corning's Gorilla Glass 2 and there is an eight-megapixel camera with an LED flash in the back. It can record 1080p videos, whilst the two-megapixel front camera allows for video chats.

In the US, the tablet is priced from $500 for the 32GB model and $600 for the 64GB variant. The keyboard dock is sold separately for $150, however. The dock extends battery life to a total of 14 hours and also adds a USB port and SD card slot.
