Quad-core smartphone to arrive in September

T-Mobile will reportedly be getting a new version of HTC's One X smartphone, the One X+. The news emerged today when TmoNews found mention of the device in a leaked internal document. The One X+ is said to be more powerful than the current variant, and it is slated for release later this fall.

The One X+ will run on Nvidia's Tegra 3 plus chipset, thus the plus symbol in the model's name. It will pack a 1.7GHz processor and is expected to ship running Android 4.0. The phone has yet to be officially unveiled by T-Mobile, and little else is known with regard to its internals. It is expected to launch in September of this year.
