Nixeus Vue monitor will bring 2560x1440 resolution for $430

Nixeus, a relatively unknown company that makes media players and HDMI cables, has now expanded into the world of high-resolution monitors with the 27-inch Vue. The display is LG's S-IPS unit that sports a 2560x1440 resolution. Other specs are also fairly impressive and include its 380cd/m2 brightness and 1,500:1 contrast ratio.

The monitor also gets a 6ms gray-to-gray response ratio and 178-degree viewing angles. It also has stereo speakers built-in and a plethora of connection options such as VGA, HDMI 1.4, DVI-D, and Display Port 1.2. Full resolution is supported by all but the VGA connection. The monitor can tilt to a portrait orientation as well.

The monitor is due to go on sale on August 21, priced at $430. [via Andandtech]
