Side-on promotional image gives little away

Android tablet maker Archos has posted a teaser for its upcoming G10xs tablet. A promotional image from the manufacturer has appeared on Facebook, though visitors can only see an angled side-on view that provides little information about the handheld. An accompanying message from the company reads "Archos Gen 10 is coming," and promises a launch announcement within three weeks.

Previously, Archos indicated the G10xs would have a 7.6mm-thick steel housing, making it 2mm thinner than an iPad. A keyboard dock mimicking ASUS' Transformer functionality is also planned, however the combined thickness increases to 12mm when folded together. It is also reportedly going to run Android 4.0, have a mini-HDMI connection, and support microSD.

Little else is known about the tablet, although more information is expected to be released as it gets closer to launch. [via Traceable.de]
