Huawei Ascend Q coming to Cricket Wireless

Android 2.3 phone comes to prepaid carrier

The Huawei Ascend D is now available on prepaid wireless carrier Cricket. Customers interested in the Ascend Q can purchase t for $120 with an instant $20 web discount. The Ascend Q requires a prepaid contract of at least $55 per month, or $65 per month with Cricket's Muve Music service.

The Ascend Q runs Android 2.3 on an 800MHz processor. It features both a hardware QWERTY keyboard and a 3.2-inch capacitive touch display that outputs at HVGA resolution. Inside, it has 4GB of storage on a microSD card, though 3GB of storage is reserved for the Muve Music application.

The Ascend Q also features a 3.2MP fixed-focus camera/camcorder. It has Bluetooth connectivity, and its 1500mAh lithium-ion battery is said to provide up to 240 hours of standby time or 250 minutes of talk time.
