New monitor appeared on Dell Japan website initially

Dell Japan has revealed its first 27-inch display using "advanced high-performance" IPS (AH-IPS) tech. The UltraSharp U2713HM is claimed to offer improved colors and higher clarity over other IPS systems, with a 37 percent drop in energy consumption compared to its predecessor, the UltraSharp U2711.

Capable of 2560x1440 resolution, the pre-calibrated monitor uses more than 99 percent of the sRGB color space, and has a maximum dynamic contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1. HDMI, Display Port, VGA, and DVI-D connections are available for video sources, while a four-port USB 3.0 hub, an audio output, and a DC power connector for Dell's AX510 Soundbar are built-in.

The US company website updated shortly after its Japanese counterpart, showing the UltraSharp U2713HM on sale for $800. [via Engadget]
