New iPhone likely already in production

New photos show supposed back shielding for the next-generation iPhone's display, according to Nowhereelse.fr. The images first appeared at a Chinese-language website called iColorOS which has since gone offline. They mark the first time, though, that any shielding for the next iPhone has been leaked. Other parts are seen in the photos but have been seen before, such as front panels, Home buttons, and a SIM tray.

The rapid increase in parts leaks in recent times may support rumors that Apple is already in full-scale production of a new phone. That may in fact be virtually guaranteed, since the phone is widely expected to launch in September or October, and Apple would need at least a month to produce enough units for launch if not two. An Apple press event is expected to take place September 12th.
