Photo shows alleged flex cable/dock connector for iPad mini

Headphone jack near base, as with next-gen iPhone
French site Nowhereelse.fr says it has obtained a photo of what may be a flex cable for the upcoming mini iPad. The part notably seems to feature Apple's new, smaller dock connector, as well as a bottom-located headphone jack. Both elements have been seen in an earlier leaked flex cable for the sixth-generation iPhone.
Commenting on the image is iFixit's Kyle Wiens, who suggests that that the cable is consistent with being an Apple part, even if he can't confirm that or say it belongs to a new iPad model. Wiens also observes that at first glance, at least, the dock connector seems to have 10 pins instead of other rumored arrangements, namely an expected 9.
The positioning of the headphone jack is an issue, since case leaks, schematics, and mockups have previously hinted that the jack would be on top of the new iPad. Apple may have made a design change for the final product however, something not unheard of in the company's history. With the original iPad, for example, a post-release teardown demonstrated that Apple had built in a slot for a camera, but for whatever reason never installed any optics.
