Repair shop claims to have had parts for 'some time now'
Kansas-based device repairer iResQ published details surrounding an alleged pair of parts for upcoming Apple products. The picture details both an eight-pin connector for the rumored iPad mini, a separate dock connector for the next-generation iPhone, and a headphone jack connector, lending more credence to leaked details of the upcoming device.
Of note, the iPad mini headphone jack is in close proximity to the dock, completely dissimilar to the leaked case details that have shown the headphone connector at the top of the device, similar to the iPhone.
A second photo details the female dock connector port, clearly showing eight metal pins one one side, without contacts on the other edge or sides, and surrounded by a plastic plug retention sleeve. Both connectors are also pictured in either white or black, likely to match case colors.
As the date draws nearer for an expected September Apple event, rumors abound as to the products Apple will be revealing this fall. Supposed parts for both the iPad Mini and the newest iteration of Apple's iPhone have been appearing from various sources from both manufacturing and service channels.
