Boutique speakers provide 'enhanced' bass response, wirelessly

Los Angeles-based audio purveyor Audyssey has unveiled the Audyssey Wireless Speakers, the company's second foray into Bluetooth stereo audio. The seven-pound speaker set is capable of 106 dB SPL peak at one meter.

The speaker set has a pair of .75-inch tweeters, with two three-inch woofers, and corresponding four-inch passive bass radiators. An A2DP-compatible Bluetooth device is required to stream to the device. Audyssey's EQ, BassXT, and Dynamic EQ technologies for enhanced sound processing are included with the device. Two 3.5mm jacks, one input and one output, are included for wired devices.

The new wireless speaker pair is available now at retail for $300.
