Amazon adds Battlestar Galactica, Heroes, others to Prime Instant Video

Amazon has made a deal with NBCUniversal Cable & New Media Distribution to expand its streaming catalog. Hundreds of TV episodes will be available to stream through Prime Instant Video, including Heroes, Battlestar Galactica, Parenthood, and Parks and Recreation, in addition to the existing 22,000 movies and TV shows already on the service. Further content expansion in the future has also been hinted at.

Evernote iOS update adds multiple snapshots

Evernote has updated its iOS app [App Store] with a number of fixes and updates. Faster download times and PDF support for the iPad is accompanied by Camera now allowing multiple snapshots to a single note. A Page Camera designed for snapshots of physical pages has also been added, which also fixes contrast and shadows so handwriting can be searched within the app.


Google adds randomized option to "I'm Feeling Lucky" button

An update to the Google front page adds emotions to the "I'm Feeling Lucky" button. Hovering over the button makes it spin onto another statement, for example "I'm Feeling Trendy" or "I'm Feeling Playful." Selecting one of these different options takes you to results customized to the statement, such as "I'm Feeling Hungry" taking you to restaurants. It isn't clear if it is a temporary addition to the page, like the famous Google Doodles, or a permanent change.
