iPhone 4S now starting at $125 at RadioShack

updated 09:04 pm EDT, Fri August 24, 2012

AT&T, Verizon, Sprint models from $125 to $325

RadioShack announced today that it will be cutting prices on the iPhone 4S by $75. Beginning Sunday, August 26, all AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint iPhone 4S models will be available for the discounted price to new and upgrading customers at RadioShack locations nationwide. The Apple smartphone is also eligible for RadioShack's Trade & Save program, which allows customers to trade in old devices for credit toward new purchases.

The 16GB model of the 4S is now available starting at $125, while the 32GB model sells for $225. The 64GB model is available for $325.

The iPhone 4S is the most recent version of Apple's iPhone line of smartphones, but providers have been slashing prices on the phone in anticipation of the release of the iPhone 5 some time over the next month. Earlier this year, southeast regional US carrier C Spire dropped the price of an iPhone 4S to $149 on a two-year plan, and Sprint effectively lowered the price of an iPhone 4S to $50 this month by offering a $100 American Express Reward Card as a part of the purchase.
